COVID-19 Announcement

What is KS Meal Plans status during COVID-19?

During these uncertain times, the health and safety of our Customers and Staff is of the utmost importance. KS Mealplans is based out of a private kitchen at KS on the Keys Restaurant & Bar, and will be continuing to provide affordable, safe meals to our local customers and community. We wish to assure you that our staff have implemented additional enhanced cleaning protocols. Furthermore, deliveries will be handled with the upmost care to ensure proper handling and handoffs using contactless delivery.  If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact our restaurant for further information at rsvp@ksrestaurant.ca.

Meal Plans

What is the shelf life of the meals?

All of our meals are cooked on the morning of delivery day. They will hold 4-5 days in the refrigerator while offering a delicious fresh taste. If you anticipate on holding the dish for an extended period of time. It is reccomended that you freeze the meal in the the same container. A frozen dish can hold in the freezer for up to a month. 

How long should meals be heated?

All of our meal containers are micrwave-safe and BPA-free. Open the lid and leave it loosely covered on the container, microwave for 2-3 minutes. Heating time will vary depending on the power of your appliance and personal preference. Containers are NOT oven safe but you can put your food on an oven safe dish if your prefer reheating using an oven. 

Can I customize my meal?

We currently do not offer meal customization at this time. 

Can I freeze my meals?

Though we are pretty big on providing fresh food, you can certainly freeze your meals if you chose to enjoy at a later date.

Ordering and delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit https://www.K-S-Fresh.myshopify.com/register and follow the instructions on-screen.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

No. We do not have a minimum cart total, however, the standard delivery rate will still apply unless order is picked up. 

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at sales@yourstorename.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via sales@yourstorename.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it.

What if I'm not home when you deliver my meals?

We will provide you with a set time frame for when you should exect your order. Our meals are delivered refrigerated and can withstand sitting outside on a cold day. In the instance that you are not home to claim your delivery on a hot day, we ask that you leave a cooler outside your doorstep to maintain the refrigerated temperature. 

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online.

Do all of my meals arrive at once?

yes, all of your meals arrive on your scheduled delivery day. However, you may request to schedule a series of deliveries for your meals throughout the week. 

When will my order arrive?

Orders that require delivery will be delivered within two to three days. You can always choose to pick up your order which only requires one to two days processing.  Please get in touch if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status.

How much is delivery?

Delivery fee will be a standard $10 charge for all deliveries within a 15Km radius from 1029 Daze St. All orders outside of the radius are subjected to add delivery fees. 

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We only take payment once your order has been shipped. We also accept payment by PayPal or Amazon Pay. If you decide to use either of these two methods, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal or Amazon Pay website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Do you deliver to apartments/condos?

Yes, we deliver to apartments and condo buldings. We ask that you please provide a buzz code and unit number with the needed instuctions to get arround your building.
